Dining Room Manager - Private Club

The Dining Room  Manager is responsible for managing all business aspects of the club's Member Dining Room, lead day-to-day operations, and provide excellent customer service to our members and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet all members in a friendly and welcoming manner
• Create an atmosphere that allows members to feel welcome, comfortable, important, and relaxed
• Manage all business aspects of club's member dining room
• Ensure health and safety protocols are adhered to
• Responsible for all hiring and training for Servers, Server Assistants, Bartenders
• Manage budgets, inventory control, and accounting principles of business
• Continuously set and meet goals to ensure guest and staff satisfaction as well as financial success of establishment
• Prepare weekly team schedule
• Sustain and optimize profitability, performance and guest satisfaction
• Available to work overtime when required
• Other duties as assigned by Manager

Safety and Environmental Responsibilities

• Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training.
• Wear proper personal protective equipment as required for the task or work area.
• Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately.  

Technical and Physical Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required, Hospitality Degree or equivalent prefered
• TIPS certified preferred
• 3 years’ restaurant experience preferred
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, rotate, reach
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
