Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aides to provide essential support to an individual in need of assistance with daily living activities. Duties
- Assist client with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with cooking as needed.
- Help clients maintain a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks.
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting independence and facilitating engagement in daily activities.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Assist in lifting and transferring clients as necessary while ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans tailored to individual client needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or in a similar caregiving role is preferred.
- Knowledge of working with people with disabilities, including developmental disabilities
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting clients safely and effectively.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
- Basic cooking skills for meal preparation tailored to client dietary needs.
- Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to privacy regulations.
