Registered Nurse Rehab or Med-Surg

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance with healthcare regulations. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a critical role in patient assessment, care planning, and implementation of treatment protocols in accordance with established standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Monitor patients' progress and response to treatments, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Maintain accurate medical records using Cerner and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care effectively.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management.
• Participate in sterile processing and ensure adherence to infection control protocols.
• Engage in case management activities for patients requiring complex care coordination.
• Assist in tube feeding procedures for patients as needed.

Skills

• Proficient in patient assessment techniques and hospital medicine practices.
• Familiarity with laboratory procedures and Level I Trauma Center protocols.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical record management.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high standard of care.
• Knowledge of sterile processing techniques is preferred but not required.
• Experience in case management is a plus, enhancing the ability to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Pay: $2,450.00 - $2,565.00 per week
