ABOUT THE ROLE :
In partnership with Venice Community Housing (VCH), our transitional living program (TLP), Roots to Grow, provides housing and a robust continuum of care to 20 young adults between the ages of 18-25. The Site Supervisor (SS) is responsible for ensuring day-to-day workflow and productivity of the Roots To Grow program and site operations. Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the schedule, team, residents, services, and programming operating out of the 2 sites in Mar Vista. Site Supervisor supervises a dynamic team of resident coordinators and a case manager. Site Supervisor ensures the sites and programming meet outcomes, are in compliance, and maintain quality assurance. The Site Supervisor manages and administers site inspections and program audits, as well as oversees timely completion of filing and documentation requirements. Additionally, the SS builds relationships with community agencies to increase access to resources and partner collaboration.
WHAT YOU'LL DO :
- Develop and create policies, procedures, and any necessary program documents needed in alignment with the contract and scope of required services.
- Provide high quality trauma informed consultation and guidance to direct line staff.
- Implement programs tailored to the needs of the site and residents.
- Ensure compliance and quality assurance in accordance with partnership agreements, contracts, and other requirements.
- Manage program budget(s) and adhere to financial guidelines and funding requirements; tracking and monitoring program expenses regularly.
- Ensure program outcomes are being achieved in accordance with program timelines and funder requirements.
- Oversee daily site operations and program activities.
- Provide de-escalation and conflict management to residents and / or support staff to manage conflict.
- Support team to organize and facilitate events, workshops, and activities.
- Provide trauma-informed supervision and culturally responsive leadership to team members.
- Provide after-hour support and consultation to staff as needed
- Manage and monitor data entry and youth files; ensure HMIS and internal data systems are accurate and updated.
- Complete required reports as assigned.
- Collaborate interdepartmentally and across SPY's programs.
- Attend all assigned internal and external meetings.
- This position manages 24-hour sites and must be available to work nights / weekends as needed.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the mission of the program and organization.
