Mover/Helper

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Mover to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the transportation of goods and belongings, ensuring that items are moved safely and efficiently. This role requires physical stamina, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to operate various moving equipment. A strong commitment to safety and professionalism is essential in providing a positive experience for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Be on time each and every day at 5 A.M. with proper work attire.
• Safely load and unload box truck with care in an orderly manner so that each stop is efficient and runs smoothly.
• Drive moving vehicles or assist driver while on the road, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during the installation process.
• Operate equipment such as shoulder straps, hand trucks, furniture dollies and other moving tools as required.
• Follow established routes and schedules while maintaining timely deliveries.
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed during the installation process to prevent accidents or damage.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the box truck area when not actively moving items.

Skills

• Being able to operate 26' Box Truck vehicles is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
• Experience with moving equipment is a plus.
• Familiarity of furniture installation processes and techniques is beneficial.
• Knowledge of courier services and route driving is advantageous.
• Ability to work with others in a team environment.
• Installing furniture in customers' homes without damaging products or property.

Pay: $900.00 - $1,100.00 per week
