Radon Mitigation Technician

Safe Shelter Environmental protects homes and businesses across the region from the harmful effects of radon.

We are seeking candidates who have previous experience in areas such as a cable technician, maintenance technician, plumber, HVAC technician, electrician, handyman, construction or carpenter that are looking for a career and the challenge of learning something new.

HOW WE PAY: Simple and transparent!

Each Technician goes through our proficiency training which may vary from 2-6 weeks. That pays an hourly rate. Once the technician completes that training they are now eligible to take part in our flat rate pay program which allows for you to earn SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS A DAY!

Candidates must have:

• Valid driver’s license
• The ability to lift and carry a 60 lbs ladders and work at heights up to 40ft
• Capable of achieving and maintaining the required certifications
• Good communication and customer service skills

Ability to:

• Operate drill, hole-saw, coring drills and other hand tools safely

Other Skills:

• Basic electrical and mechanical knowledge with ability to use hand tools

Our focus since the beginning has been on residential radon, lead, mold, and water environmental testing and remediation services in the Delaware Valley; however, throughout the years we have expanded our capabilities to also include a wide range of residential and commercial environmental services throughout many counties in Pennsylvania, Delaware, New Jersey and Maryland. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
