What’s in it for you?

Exciting Work : As a Swamper, you’ll be at the heart of the action, assisting operators and crew members in a variety of hands-on tasks. From setting up hydrovac equipment to operating heavy machinery, every day brings new challenges and opportunities to learn!
Flexible Hours : Some weeks may be light, with less than 40 hours, while others require 50 hours – we’re a 24 / 7 operation. Be ready for action!
Travel : Get the chance to travel (25% or less) and see new places while working alongside a fantastic crew.

Your Day-to-Day :

Operate and care for construction equipment and machines

Assist in the setup and takedown of rigs and equipment

Prep construction sites, ensuring they're obstacle-free and hazard-free

Perform manual labor tasks like digging, excavating, and site cleanup

Follow instructions from supervisors and be ready to jump in wherever needed

Load and unload construction materials with safety and precision

Ensure the job site is clean and safe every step of the way

Why You’ll Succeed :

You’re ready to work extended hours and tackle variable shifts, including some weekends

You can repeatedly lift at least 50 pounds

You thrive in a team environment and have a strong commitment to safety

You’re willing to climb ladders, work from elevated heights, and enter confined spaces when needed

You’re eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced industry

Requirements :

Must be 18 years or older

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, physical, criminal background check, and safety performance verification

Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn emerging technologies

Preferred Experience :

Underground utility, construction, or heavy equipment operation experience

Previous hydrovac, trucking, vacuum truck, or related industrial experience
