Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in behavioral health and demonstrate a commitment to improving the lives of individuals, particularly those with intellectual disabilities and autism. This role involves conducting diagnostic evaluations, providing behavioral therapy, and collaborating with families and other professionals to create effective treatment plans.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations(FBA) to assess behavioral health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide direct behavioral therapy to clients, focusing on skill development and behavior modification.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with families, DSP's, Systematic Skill Builders, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Collect and analyze data related to client progress and treatment effectiveness.
- Support clients in developing coping strategies and achieving personal goals.
- Stay informed about best practices in behavioral health and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Experience working with adults with intellectual disabilities is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of ABA and other behavioral therapy techniques.
- Proficiency in medical documentation standards and patient care protocols.
- Ability to conduct effective data collection for evaluating client progress.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A compassionate approach towards clients, demonstrating patience and understanding.

Pay: $45.00 - $55.00 per hour
