Overview
The Classroom Teacher plays a vital role in shaping the driver's education experiences of students. This position involves creating a supportive and engaging learning environment, delivering lessons from our curriculum and having fun while doing it. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage a classroom effectively.
Duties
- Implement our lesson plans to all types student learning.
- Educate students on various subjects so that they become safe and skilled drivers.
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment through effective classroom management techniques.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
- Communicate with administration and/or parents and guardians regarding student performance, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the educational experience for all students.
Skills
- Strong classroom management abilities to maintain an organized and productive learning environment.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Experience working with students of varying ages and backgrounds, including adult education if applicable.
- Ability to drive student engagement through innovative teaching strategies.

Training
Must be available for training prior to the summer. Most of the training is done at home.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
