We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Facilities Maintenance HVAC Technician to join our team of professionals. This position offers great opportunity for dynamic, motivated self-starters to work on a variety of work assignments. JOB REQUIREMENTS :
- This is technical work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial air-conditioning equipment.
- Performs work on heating or refrigeration and cooling units & appliances, which includes motors, switches, pumps, wiring, thermostats and fans.
- Responsible for installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing air-conditioning and ventilating equipment and controls to make sure that they operate efficiently and continuously.
- Responsible for regular maintenance work on cooling units and the diagnosing of electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions. Installs, replaces, or repairs equipment that has been damaged due to abuse or regular use such as low and high pressure refrigerant lines.
- Makes adjustment and calibrations of thermostatic controls. Installs new air-conditioning systems and equipment; inspects and maintain refrigerators and ice machines, and chilled water supply systems.
- Cleans blowers and coils and checks tensions of belts and motors.
- Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
