We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Financial Analyst to join our team of professionals. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for direct analytical support. Key activities include analyzing business unit performance (financial and non-financial), operating and improving financial models that generate financial forecasts and business cases, building rapport with and directly supporting management in the field, and making recommendations that drive results.

We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Financial Analyst to join our team of professionals. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for direct analytical support. Key activities include analyzing business unit performance (financial and non-financial), operating and improving financial models that generate financial forecasts and business cases, building rapport with and directly supporting management in the field, and making recommendations that drive results.
Key Qualifications
- Advanced Excel skills e.g. pivot tables, lookups, indexes, large data set organization, and advanced MS Office skills, primarily PowerPoint
- Prior experience with Business Intelligence tools such as TM1, Power BI, and Tableau
- Personable, with the ability to clearly communicate financial topics with people outside of the Finance organization
- Self-starter with a bent toward creative analysis and natural curiosity
- Ability to build and enhance relationships with field employees
- Desire to develop KPIs, educate field personnel on their utility and advocate action through root cause-corrective action when KPIs indicate underperformance
- Provide timely, accurate, and quality research and analysis of performance, operationally and financially
- Assist in the preparation, review, and presentation of the annual budget and financial forecasts
- Develop a field presence within operations to provide direct support around interpreting financial performance and managing towards the annual budget and/or forecasts
- Design and implement reports, tools, and presentations that lead to effective and efficient decision-making; examples include strategic reports and dashboards
- Partner with Regional Directors across the U.S. to provide insight to, and foster the understating of, their regional financial performance
- Perform root cause, benchmark, and trend analysis that leads to process changes, cost reduction, and resource optimization
- Perform trend analysis on key performance indicators to monitor the operational performance of the business
- Prepare monthly variance analysis, operating statistics, and presentation material
- Regularly use spreadsheets, database and word processing software, and periodically learn new programs
- Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses as necessary
- Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with staff, other departments and management
- May be required to work non-traditional hours as needed
Job Requirements/Skills
- Performs work that is complex and varied in nature, often on a tight deadline; develops integrated solutions to resolve technical and business issues; recommends changes in procedures; reviews overall progress with management
- Possesses and applies technical and business knowledge to complete assignments
- Ability to demonstrate advanced research and analytical skills required
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred; MBA a plus
- 2-5 years of relevant professional work experience, including full P&L analysis/forecasting and headcount planning
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable working in a growing and changing organization
- Familiarity with multiple ERP systems
- Computer proficiency within a Microsoft Office environment required (high-level competency within Excel), as well the ability to successfully learn and subsequently maneuver within internal business applications
