We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Revenue Accountant to join our team of professionals. We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Revenue Accountant to join our team of professionals. Responsibilities
- Generates invoices and billing documentation within month end close deadlines
- Posts cash receipts.
- Maintains accounting ledgers and client accounts and performs research.
- Collections on all past due accounts
- Remits quarterly fees collected to states and municipalities
- Project work as needed, other duties as assigned
- Demonstrated experience and familiarity with standard industry accounting software packages
- Experience with standard Microsoft programs – Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint – and ability to learn new software products and tools
- Experience with SAGE Intacct is preferred but not required
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Must be flexible and very open to change
- Attention to detail and proactive positive attitude
- 2-4 year Accounting degree preferred
- Applicable education and strong AR background would be considered
