We are seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Attorney for our client who is one of Phoenix’s premier and established law firms. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience in debtor representation and restructuring matters with some working knowledge of creditor representation. Additional experience in commercial litigation or commercial finance is advantageous.
Candidates must be able to manage multiple projects independently and efficiently with meticulous attention to detail. Work ethic and product are most important. Superior academic and professional credentials are advantageous.
This position may be local remote if candidate is available to make in-person meetings and court appearances as necessary, approximately 1-3Xs monthly.
Job Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in bankruptcy, restructuring, and creditor's rights cases, including both debtor and creditor representation.
- Handle commercial litigation and commercial finance matters as required.
- Draft, review, and analyze complex legal documents with precision.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and provide strategic legal advice.
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to deliver highest level of services.
- Attend court hearings, depositions, and trials, representing clients effectively.
Required Experience, Skills & Education:
- Chapter 11 experience required.
- Minimum 2-3 years of bankruptcy experience.
- Arizona State Bar admission required.
- Juris Doctorate
