The Appointment Setter will be responsible for making outbound calls to potential customers, qualifying their needs, and scheduling appointments for our sales team to present our security system solutions. This role requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to overcome objections.
Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls to prospective customers using provided leads and/or lead generation techniques.
- Qualify leads based on pre-defined criteria, identifying customer needs and potential interest in security systems.
- Schedule appointments for sales representatives, ensuring appointments are qualified and meet company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of all calls and appointments in the CRM system.
- Follow up on leads that have not yet converted to appointments.
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly appointment setting quotas.
- Effectively communicate the benefits and features of our security systems.
- Handle customer inquiries and objections professionally and courteously.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, promotions, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with sales team to ensure smooth handover of qualified leads.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
- Proven experience in telemarketing, appointment setting, or sales preferred, but not required for entry-level positions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong listening skills and the ability to understand customer needs.
- Ability to build rapport with potential customers quickly.
- Positive attitude, resilience, and persistence in the face of rejection.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of security systems is a plus but not required.
