SafeHaven is seeking a Children Case Manager.
This position has significant responsibilities that includes using strengths-based approaches to provide crisis management, safety planning, advocacy, resource referrals, and parenting support to survivors in emergency shelter.

The specific qualifications for this role are:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Child Development, Social Work or related discipline required
- Minimum of one year experience in case management which includes assessing, planning, developing, implementing, monitoring, group facilitation, and evaluating options and services to meet the needs of the client.
- Knowledge of Intimate Partner Violence, gender-based violence, and crisis intervention strategies required.
- Experience working with child victims of domestic violence and knowledge of dynamics of family violence preferred.
- Must possess knowledge of developmental stages, age-appropriate activities, and care guidelines for children.
- Ability to provide culturally competent services and work with diverse staff and clientele in an empathetic and non-judgmental manner.
- Must be able to make sound, independent decisions, and act effectively in a residential setting.
- Strong organization and time management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced and changing environment.
