SafeHaven is seeking a Director of Facilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required, college degree or trade school preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities management, maintenance or construction, with a least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Must be familiar with ADA, OSHA, communicable diseases abatement practices and other facility specific requirements.
- Must have basic knowledge of plumbing, commercial kitchen equipment, HVAC systems, fire suppressing systems, burglar and fire alarm operation and can read blueprints.
- Need familiarity with equipment associated with an institutional facility with the ability to troubleshoot potential breakdowns.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety manuals, operation and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Must have working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, internet and e-mail applications.
- Current Texas Driver’s License and proof of liability automobile insurance required.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Frequent expose to outside weather conditions such as extreme heat or extreme cold.
