SafeHouse Denver amplifies the voices of domestic violence survivors and provides them with lifesaving and supportive services. We are looking for a person who will support our efforts to reach even more people and strengthen our impact on the community.

Key Responsibilities
- Participate in SafeHouse Denver’s off-site outreach, including attendance and participation at local events, including, but not limited to festivals, resource fairs, and conferences
- Support in maintaining current collaborative relationships with community-based organizations, nonprofit organizations, the public health and educational sectors, and community leaders.
- Manage, update, and ensure the confidentiality of internal databases
- Manage marketing and promotional inventory
- Transport material to and from events
- Support or lead set up and tear downs of events
- Support with third party fundraising initiatives/events when needed
- Entering and tracking volunteers for each event in Donor Perfect (CRM)
- Serve as additional volunteer contact
- Assist Community Engagement Manager with additional tasks
- Other duties as assigned
- Commitment to SafeHouse Denver’s Mission and Values
- Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Commitment to consistently treating colleagues, coalition partners, and public with kindness and humility, even in stressful situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable working directly with all diverse populations and engage with individuals in an authentic and nonjudgemental manner
- Knowledge of the causes of domestic violence and its impact on communities
- An undergraduate degree and/or at least two years of relevant work, volunteer, or internship experience
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand for long periods
- Must be able to work in all types of weather conditions
- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for transporting event materials and attending community events.
- Competitive pay range: $25 per hour, non-exempt
- Performance evaluations with an opportunity for merit-based increases after one full year of employment.
