We're looking for a Customer Service Representative. Be the important link between Safelite and our customers – where you’ll provide phone-based support in a variety of processes such as claims processing or scheduling. *A day in the life:*
· Answer incoming phone calls from policyholders, insurance agents or auto glass shops – listening to each customer’s needs and concerns.
· Gather information to help qualify damage for repair, replacement, or recalibration services. Verify insurance coverage, establish claims, and determine deductible amounts.
· Communicate and resolve issues with an empathetic and patient mindset.
· Operate various computer-based systems to enter data quickly and accurately into Safelite’s systems in real-time.
*Required Qualifications:*
· Must be 16 years of age
· High school diploma or equivalent (or actively enrolled)
· Ability to operate a computer and telephone system while seated for extended periods of time
· Ability to work one weekend day per week
*Preferred Qualifications:*
· Prior experience in customer service preferred
· Experience utilizing several computer-based systems at a time, with the ability to type 30 words per minute
*Training:*
· Classroom training lasts approximately 2 weeks – conducted in-person at a Safelite contact center.
· Following classroom training, work begins with close supervision with support from leadership and the training team.
· Hours of training vary; evening classes are available.
