About the Role

We're hiring year-round and seasonally for this position, which involves performing vehicle glass repairs when replacement isn't required. Our comprehensive paid training program covers everything you need to know, regardless of your prior mechanical experience.

What You'll Do

* Learn vehicle glass repair techniques in a classroom and hands-on setting, guided by experienced technicians and leaders* Repair chips, cracks, and other auto glass issues on customer vehicles using our Safelite Way of Fitting method* Manage work orders, customer documentation, and communication through our Mobile Resource Management (MRM) technology* Clean customer vehicles during wait time and perform additional housekeeping tasks while operating our company fleet vehicle

Requirements

* High School Diploma/GED/Equivalent required* Valid state-issued driver's license required* On-the-job training and completion of our SafeTech certification program* Ability to operate a Safelite van safely and maintain a clean driving record* Flexibility with hours and days worked, as workloads fluctuate* Comfort working outside in various weather conditions* Professional appearance and personal protective equipment

Physical Demands

* Lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. for short periods* Assisting with lifting windshields weighing 26-50 lbs.* Safely operating hand and power tools, and working at elevated heights* Remaining on your feet for extended periods
