Safelite's supply chain is a critical component of our business. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Logistics Coordinator to join our team.
Job Description:
This role will be responsible for preparing glass for distribution to our field operations teams. As a key member of our distribution center, you will work closely with other teams to ensure that our customers receive their products on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pallet breakdown and dunnage preparation
- Utilize handheld RF scanners to receive, pick, ship, or locate inventory
- Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) such as a forklift, reach truck, or order picker to heights of up to 40 feet
- Maintain a secure and clean work area through general housekeeping
- Build steel pallets and prepare them for inventory replenishment
- Assist with offloading tractor trailers by hand
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Experience with some MHE equipment such as a forklift, order picker, or reach truck
- Comfortable with working in various environmental conditions, such as seasonal heat or cold, and staying in a stationary position for long shifts
- Punctuality and consistent attendance to help your teammates
