Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Azure .NET Developer with expertise in PowerShell scripting , Azure Web Apps , and API development . This role requires strong experience in building and maintaining scalable web applications, automating cloud operations, and delivering high-quality documentation. The ideal candidate will thrive in an agile environment, leveraging tools like Jira for project tracking and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Application Development :
Design, develop, and maintain robust web applications using .NET Core / Framework and Azure Web Apps .
Develop scalable solutions using Azure Functions , App Services , and other Azure PaaS offerings.
Create and maintain PowerShell scripts for automating Azure infrastructure deployments, monitoring, and system integrations.
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture, APIs, workflows, and deployment guides.
Use Jira to manage tasks, track progress, and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues in applications, APIs, and cloud services.
Essential Functions
Required Qualifications
Proficiency in C# and the .NET Framework / Core for web and API development.
Hands-on experience with Azure Web Apps and related cloud hosting services a plus.
Understanding of Azure PaaS services , including App Services , Azure Functions , Storage Accounts , and API Management .
Advanced knowledge of PowerShell for scripting and automation.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and using Jira for project management.
Ability to produce clear, thorough, and well-organized documentation for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with Git and CI / CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions .
Preferred Qualifications
Azure Active Directory and securing APIs with OAuth2, JWT, or similar protocols.
Knowledge of database systems such as SQL Server , Azure SQL Database , and Cosmos DB .
Familiarity with Azure Monitor , App Insights , and centralized logging tools.
Exposure to Python , Bash , or other scripting languages a plus.
