The Strategic Account Executive is a strategic customer-driven team member focused on fostering strong, strategic relationships with customers, ensuring their workflow and decision-making processes are optimized through innovative solutions. The position requires exceptional communication skills across multiple levels, effectively conveying the value of SafeRent workflow solutions that enhance efficiency. This is an outstanding opportunity to cultivate and manage key customer partnerships, while serving as a trusted solutions consultant. Success in this role requires outstanding customer relationship management abilities.
- Responsible for managing overall relationship with assigned customers, including a deep understanding of the customers workflow / resident screening processes
- Account Mapping to identify and build relationships at multiple levels to include C Suite Executives
- Requires proactive, outbound calls to build and maintain strong relationships to introduce and reiterate SafeRent’s workflow solutions, etc.
- Conducts onsite business reviews at a regular cadence with our customers senior leadership
- Develop and Manage relationships with decision makers and lead business reviews onsite with customers
- Understand the customers buying process
- Develop and own an Account Plan for each assigned customer
- Identifies areas to enhance customers workflow with additional SafeRent solutions
- Ability to understand customer concerns, product / solution opportunities and communicates effectively with SafeRent leadership
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; undergraduate degree preferred
- 5 years of selling or business development in Financial Services or Property Management industry preferred
- Willing to travel up to 50%
- Key Account experience in cross selling products and services within current customers.
- Customer relationship building skills including negotiating and closing business.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an articulate and engaging style while being pleasantly persistent.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgement
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
