New Location....We have started up a new Swim School in Sachse, Texas. Are you a talented individual who loves teaching children and adults how to swim and has the desire to teach swim lessons?
We are seeking a qualified Swim Instructor / Lifeguard with a willingness to work hard and grow with the company.
This position will be primarily responsible for teaching swim lessons to kids and adults. The ability to create exceptional experiences for swimmers and families is a key for this position.
Other Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

· Cross-train to perform other key duties within the swim school
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
· The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance to SafeSplash curriculum in a fun, positive manor.
· Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students on their swimming efforts.
· Structure class time to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of new skills.
· Keep a watchful eye on all students in class to ensure swimmer safety.
· Prepare teaching equipment prior to the start of class and return when finished.
· Provide Deck Supervisor with level changes and student moves to ensure students are booked properly.
· Provide parents with monthly, individualized feedback on swimmers during splash-n-tell week.
· The main focus of a Lifeguard is to maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the pool area and act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of customers in the event of an emergency.
· Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
· Perform various duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.
· Prepare and maintain appropriate incident reports.
· Cross-train in other customer service experiences.
Position Qualifications and Requirements:
· Previous Swim Instructor experience is required.
· Previous lifeguard experience is required.
· CPR, First Aid, and Lifeguard certification is required.
· A genuine passion for teaching children.
· Excellent Customer Service Skills
· Excellent Communication Skills
· Hours: Monday and Thursday 4:00-8:15pm; Saturday 9:45am - 1:15pm
· Compensation: Commensurate with experience and skills
