Aquatics Manager Job Description
Reports to : General Manager
Description : Must be an enthusiastic self-starter who wants to maintain and build upon a joyful, bright environment while maintaining excellent customer service and team cohesiveness
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to) :
Business Operations -partners with the owner to set up and maintain location policies and procedures within the SafeSplash SwimLabs structure.
- Employee Management -Maintains staff by recruiting, hiring, orienting, scheduling, and training employees; ongoing management of staff; maintain a safe and secure work environment; develop a positive work culture that encourages employee growth
- Responsible for training and management of all instructors
- Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations; reviewing and appraising job results with regular evaluations; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; developing, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of aquatics staff and pool
Customer Relations -Responsible for the customer experience at SafeSplash by communicating with parents about the progress of their swimmer.
Position Qualifications and Requirements :
Swim Lesson and / or competitive swimming experience : knowledge of the four basic strokes, teaching curriculum, and stroke progression
Hours : 30-40 hours per week
Compensation : Commensurate with experience and skills
Benefits / Perks (may vary by location) :
Compensation : $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
