Duties and Responsibilities:
This is an outside role, going door-to-door to generate leads and setting appointments for our dynamic sales team.
Job Type: Part-time, non-exempt
Work Hours/Availability: 1 PM – dark. Flexible schedules, but Saturdays are required. Minimum of 3 days a week. 6 days a week preferred.
Work Location: Based out of Jacksonville
Travel: Local
Reports to: Sales Manager
Pay Structure: 100% Commission -

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Identify potential clients in need of integrated security solutions. Track and manage leads effectively.
- Contact prospects to schedule times for our sales team to meet with them.
- Communicate the value of integrated security systems, understand the client’s security needs, and qualify leads to ensure they are a good fit for the products and services offered.
- Work closely with the sales team to confirm all appointments and provide them with all relevant client information before meetings.
- Follow up with leads to confirm appointments, remind clients of meetings, and reschedule as necessary.
- Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets for lead generation and appointment setting. Track and report on key performance metrics to improve results.
- Establish call plans and customer follow-up strategies and tactics; consistently apply time and territory management techniques.
- Use SafeTouch policies and procedures in all project preparation and implementation.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in sales or a related field, preferably sales of small and medium-sized business electronic security systems (intrusion detection systems, access controls, CCTV, fire, etc.).
- Work independently and manage time effectively in an outside sales environment.
- Experienced with MS Office suite.
- Solid verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and driven to meet performance targets.
- Travel locally or regionally as required.
- Pass a drug screen and background check.
- Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets insurance requirements.
- Proof of personal vehicle insurance to include automobile liability and property damage coverage
- Reliable transportation
- Work both inside and outside.
- Remain stationary at a desk, standing, and moving from place to place for prolonged periods.
- Move equipment and materials up to 25 pounds.
- Handle products, take notes, operate technology, and present information.
- Read documents and presentations using electronic devices and hard copy materials and interact with others.
- Clearly hear conversations in person and over the phone.
- Communicate clearly and articulately for presentations and interpersonal interactions.
- Drive to work, client sites, and as business needs require.
- Traverse uneven or slippery surfaces or both.
- Safely ascend and descend stairs as needed.

- $200 if they set the appointment and the salesperson closes the deal.
- $100 for a set appointment and no close (incentive for the appt setter’s effort).
- $0 for no shows.
