What You’ll Do:
- Lead & Inspire the Sales Team: Manage, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives, providing the leadership, tools, and support necessary for achieving and exceeding sales goals. Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture centered on continuous improvement.
- Develop & Implement Sales Strategies: Craft and execute impactful sales strategies to drive customer acquisition and revenue growth in the food and beverage manufacturing sector. Align sales goals with broader company objectives to ensure consistent growth and achievement.
- Optimize Pipeline Management: Build and refine scalable pipeline management processes, overseeing all sales cycle stages from lead generation to closing. Ensure your team has the resources and strategies to sustain a healthy, sustainable pipeline.
- Drive Forecasting & Reporting: Lead accurate sales forecasting, providing clear insights into sales performance, pipeline health, and growth projections. Collaborate with the executive team to align on revenue targets and business strategy.
- Sales Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and enhance sales processes to improve effectiveness and efficiency, ensuring best practices are followed throughout prospecting, qualification, discovery, and closing stages.
- Coaching & Talent Development: Actively mentor your team, providing opportunities for professional growth and career advancement. Cultivate a pipeline of future leaders and ensure your team remains motivated, engaged, and empowered.
- Lead Change & Continuous Improvement: Guide your team through organizational changes, ensuring smooth transitions and alignment with new goals and strategies. Leverage change management expertise to ensure adaptability to evolving business needs.

Responsibilities:
- Master and continuously refine the SafetyChain sales process, ensuring alignment from business development to closing deals.
- Coach and mentor team members to consistently achieve or exceed their quotas.
- Scale the team as necessary to meet ambitious revenue goals.
- Foster team members' professional development, facilitating career progression and skill enhancement.
- Use your leadership to align the team with company goals and move them toward success.
- Empower your team through training, motivation, and leadership support.
- Partner closely with our Chief Revenue Officer to refine sales strategies and team growth.
What You’ll Need:
- 10 years of SaaS sales leadership experience.
- Proven success in managing and scaling high-performance sales teams.
- Strong strategic vision with a track record of aligning sales objectives to company goals.
- Expertise in sales tools and processes, including CRM and performance management systems.
- Demonstrated success in driving results through pipeline management, forecasting, and coaching.
- Experience in fostering and sustaining a strong sales culture, ensuring high motivation and success.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills with a focus on talent development.
- A data-driven approach to decision-making, leveraging analytics to optimize sales performance.
- Experience with hiring, scaling teams, and collaborating across functions (marketing, product, customer success).
- Experience in the food and beverage manufacturing sector is a plus but not required.
- Strong understanding of customer acquisition strategies.
