Job Summary:
The Production Employee is responsible for operating equipment, preparing materials, and ensuring the efficien production of custom decals, stickers, and other printed products. This role
requires attention to detail, adherence to quality standards, and collaboration with the production
team to meet customer specifications and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Printing Operations:
- Operate and maintain printing equipment, including screen printers, vinyl cutters,
and large-format printers.
- Monitor production runs to ensure color accuracy, alignment, and overall quality.
2. Material Preparation:
- Prepare vinyl, reflective materials, and other substrates for printing and cutting.
- Handle adhesives, laminates, and other materials as needed.
3. Finishing Work:
- Perform tasks such as weeding, laminating, and applying finishing touches to
products.
- Cut, trim, and package products according to customer requirements.
4. Quality Control:
- Inspect products throughout the production process to ensure they meet company
and customer standards.
- Report and correct any production issues or defects.
5. Equipment Maintenance:
- Clean and maintain machinery, tools, and workspaces to ensure optimal
performance and safety.
- Notify the Production Manager of any equipment malfunctions or maintenance
needs.
6. Collaboration:
- Work closely with team members to prioritize and complete orders on time.
- Communicate with supervisors to address challenges or improve processes.
- Help with installations as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a production or printing environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate or learn to operate specialized equipment (training provided).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Basic computer skills for working with printing software and equipment controls.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
