Position: Female Day Matron – Cleaning/Maintenance Industry
Location: Brooklyn
Shift: Monday - Friday 10am-2pm/3pm
Pay Rate: $18.00 an hour
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Female Day Matron to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 2 years of experience in the cleaning/maintenance industry.
- Strong customer service skills.
- A strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities:
As a Day Matron, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and presentable facility while providing exceptional customer service. Key duties include:
- Perform routine cleaning of sales floors, fitting rooms, restrooms, break rooms, and stock areas.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness and safety.
- Empty trash bins and replace liners regularly.
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including display shelves, counters, and glass doors.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring soap, toilet paper, and paper towels are stocked.
- Maintain cleanliness in employee break areas and restock necessary supplies.

Minimum Requirements:
- MUST speak English

Additional Responsibilities:
- Must be client/guest focused, always while on the clock, while following Safety’s Policies.
- Punctuality when reporting to work and performing work duties.
- Maintain a clean and neatly groomed uniform, by following Safety’s Uniform Policy.
- Perform daily/weekly walkthroughs throughout the area. (Ex: Kitchen, Common Areas, Bathrooms, etc.)
- Maintain all equipment by neatly storing, using, and keeping track of.
- Handling cleaning supplies and controlling usage for inventory.
- Communicating any facility work needed to be completed to the management team.
- Weekly Deep cleaning checklist.
Physical Requirements: walking and standing during the entire shift (8 hours), climbing stairs, kneeling to clean floors, pushing and pulling objects, lifting and moving objects, repetitive bending and lifting, and repetitive arm movement.
