GENERAL CLEANER:

We are seeking a Residential Porter, maintenance industry personnel with related experience that , possess strong customer services skills, and have a strong sense of work ethic. We seek reliable and responsible workers who are always on time, follow the company's dress code and wear their assigned uniform & care about our customers. You are critical to the success of our organization because you represent the company at the customer’s site. This role is responsible for ensuring the customer’s site is clean and safe so that the customers have a pleasant experience. You will need to ensure all duties are completed with the high quality that Safety Facility Services and its customers have come to expect.

SHIFT AVAILABILITY AND PAYRATE:

Sunday - Thursday (7:00AM - 3:00PM)
1 hour unpaid lunch

$19.00/hour

The ideal Residential Porter will be able to successfully perform the following responsibilities:

Collect and dispose of trash and recycling

Expectations of sorting and recycling garbage

Handle garbage compactor and removal of trash

Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors and stairs

Assist Superintendent with miscellaneous tasks

Communicate professionally with clients/tenants and Safety Supervisors

Comply with safety policies and procedure

Willing to cover front desk during Concierge break

1-2 years of experience in maintenance, housekeeping or custodial services

Physical Requirements: walking and standing during the entire shift (often 4-8 hours), climbing stairs, kneeling to clean floors, pushing and pulling objects, lifting and moving objects (up to 50 lbs), repetitive bending and lifting, and repetitive arm movement.
