Role Description
This is an on-site position for a Respiratory Protection Specialist who can travel nationwide and / or fulfill local contracts in the states mentioned below to perform respirator fit testing services to fulfill contractual needs at various locations including but not limited to; hospitals, college universities, nursing facilities, & acute care centers. We currently have a need to fulfill contractual obligations in the following states : Indiana, Maryland, Massachusetts, Illinois, & Connecticut.
Please note the various contract commitments come in waves. Therefore, some months have multiple back-to-back weeks available; while others have sporadic weeks during a given month that lines up with quarterly requirements of the client. That said, dates are known well in advance, but flexibility is needed and the understanding that this is a part-time contract job with the potential option for being brought on for future contracts.
Duties
- Perform quantitative and qualitative respirator fit testing following OSHA standards to ensure adequate fit.
- Travel nationwide and / or fulfill a local contract in the states mentioned above for various establishments such as colleges, hospitals, and long term care facilities to provide services.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and members of leadership at each account.
- Maintain accurate documentation of respirator fit test results.
- Collect data for each account based on their specific needs and requests.
- Provide education as a part of the fit testing process.
