A fast-paced property and casualty insurance agency looking for an experienced commercial lines account manager. As a commercial lines account manager, you will work as the liaison between insurance companies and clients. Your duties and responsibilities involve responding to requests for information and documentation, handling renewals of expiring policies, processing claims, and assisting with audits. Position can be based out of either our Auburn or Needham offices.
- Provide proactive, personalized support to assigned Commercial Lines customers.
- Manage customer renewal expirations.
- Negotiate with carriers on behalf of customers.
- Process policies, endorsements and audits as needed.
- Handle claim reporting and monitoring.
- Respond to underwriters’ questions in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a high degree of detail and accuracy in agency management systems.
- Performs all other duties as required
Qualifications
- 2 years of commercial insurance experience (agency or carrier)
- Current Insurance license preferred
- Excellent relationship building, customer service and organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to multi task
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Familiarity with Applied EPIC agency management system preferred
