SMG seeks an HSE Advisor - Owner's Rep in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
The key function is to put safety at the forefront of their job, prioritize the client’s needs, work well in a team setting, be self-managed, and be flexible regarding change and travel. The Associate in this role will work in various industrial environments such as Manufacturing, Construction, Utility & Health, and Pharma.
Overview of Job Responsibilities:
- Provide safety management support as an extension of the site’s HSE team
- Provide qualifications assistance and support
- Manage and coordinate programs on-site to support the project
- Supply additional safety coverage for contractor construction activities
- Conduct site safety activities as necessary to help alleviate the workload of the HSE team
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years of EHS experience
- Experience in safety management programs
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Effective presentation and communication skills
Physical Demands of the job may include:
- Moving about long distances
- Ascending/Descending stairs and ladders
- Remaining in a stationary position for a prolonged period
- Working in extreme weather
- Being exposed to loud noises
- Wearing personal protective gear correctly
