SMG seeks a Safety Advisor - LOTO in Lebanon, Indiana.
The primary role of a Safety Advisor is to prioritize safety in their work, address clients' needs, collaborate effectively in a team, manage themselves independently, and adapt to changes when necessary.
Overview of Job Responsibilities
- Conduct field reviews and verifications at the corporate and technology center.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and complete Equipment Specific Instructions (ESI) reviews.
- Perform detailed evaluations through field verifications, which include assessing the magnitude, energy types, and isolation points.
- Update the system and ensure all data entries are accurate.
- Provide logistical support and coordination for contractors.
Requirements
- Degree in Safety or a related field
- 7 years of experience in Construction Safety experience
- Strong knowledge and experience in electrical safety
- Significant experience with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Course
- Certification in First Aid/CPR
Physical Demands of the job may include

- Being exposed to loud noises
- Wearing personal protective gear correctly
