This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Safety Advisor. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing safety oversight, implementing the Contractor Safety Management Program, conducting quality safety observations, establishing and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders, and providing safety leadership for Energy Delivery projects. If you have a strong background in safety management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide safety oversight as a contractor representative for line crews
• Implement the Contractor Safety Management Program
• Conduct quality safety observations and document findings focusing on leading indicators
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders
• Provide safety leadership for Energy Delivery projects
• Verify compliance with safety policies and procedures as required by law and the owner
• Ensure clear communication of safety requirements to contractors
• Represent the utility client in meetings
• Prepare reports clearly and concisely
• Reinforce a safety culture with field crews
