We are seeking an Administrative Security Clerk who would transition into being an Unarmed Security Guard after 90 days of hands-on training and supervision. We are currently hiring out for the Superior, Kearny, and surrounding areas. We offer many benefits including a paid boot program, free rental pant services along many insurance benefits.
No guard card is needed to start with us! We are looking for interested individuals who will start in an admin position, and then slowly train into a security guard position. You will not be required to have an active guard card in the beginning but will need to obtain one by the time you move into your guard position after 90 days. We will work with you every step of the way to ensure you are confident and happy with your new position!
The selected individual will perform admin duties and then move into patrol and secure assigned premises on an active mine site as well as identify risks to staff and patrons.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Drive company vehicle on mine site to patrol for suspicious activity or anything out of the ordinary.
- Keep a daily activity report on Microsoft word and log traffic commodities on Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Monitor all in and out traffic through the use of reports and daily logs
- Drug testing of client new hires and of those picked at random
Qualifications:
- Must be 21 years or older
- Must pass an FBI background check
- Must be able to use Microsoft Applications such as Word and Excel on a computer.
- Previous experience preferred, but not required
- Must have a current and valid Driver’s License

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
