This position involves providing expert advice and guidance on occupational health and safety matters, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and promoting a culture of safety within client organizations.
- Analyze and respond to EHSS incidents, developing corrective actions and implementing controls to prevent future occurrences.
- Conduct regular safety audits, assessing client facilities and operations to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and deliver training programs on various safety topics, including risk management, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with clients to develop and implement comprehensive safety plans, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- A degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Construction, Engineering, or a related field is highly desirable; however, candidates with significant work experience may be considered.
- A minimum of three years' experience in occupational health and safety roles, preferably in a consulting or advisory capacity.
- Expert knowledge of regulatory requirements, including OSHA 500/501 training, industrial chemical construction, and relevant regulations.
- Proven track record of improving workplace safety outcomes through effective hazard identification, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
