Safety Products Inc (SPI) is seeking an experienced Customer Care Representative to join our growing company. SPI is the largest, independently owned, occupational safety distributor in the Southeast United States. Our Mission is “To be a trusted team of people dedicated to providing equipment and resources in a friendly manner because we care about everyone’s safety”. Our product sales are focused on personal protective equipment, first aid and traffic safety products. We sell to general industry, manufacturing, government agencies and the construction market. We have three distribution centers located in Lakeland, Florida - Charlotte, North Carolina – and Memphis, Tennessee. Our Memphis, TN team is where this position is needed.
Customer Care Representative position is responsible for providing excellent customer service and sales support to assigned accounts and all customers of SPI while working in a fast-paced environment. This is done mainly by phone, email and through the internet. The Customer Care Representative position is also responsible for working with an assigned field sales representative to collectively grow business in their territory through sales on the phone, email and internet.

A successful candidate must be able to:
- Process daily orders from phone calls, email, website and other online sources
- Prepare quotes to prospective and current customers
- Produce outbound call activity for sales growth
- Build a relationship with a client base that you will manage
- Preference will be shown to those that have occupational health & safety experience.

This position will be paid a base salary w/ potential of quarterly bonuses as well as incentive programs throughout the year. Pay: $16.50 - $20.00 per hour
