Safeway Transportation is a progressive, forward-looking company that's setting a new standard in the school transportation industry. We are expanding in the area and looking to hire a top-notch dispatcher for the AM Shift (5AM-2PM)
The responsibilities are as follows:
- Support and respond to driver and customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Assure all routes are filled as assigned and drivers are provided with accurate instructions
- Adapt and utilize transportation and logistics technology
- Act as liaison between the driver and emergency services
- Create daily reports and perform clerical duties as needed
- Ability to quickly communicate and collaborate with various areas of the team to create the Safeway difference.
Bilingual (English and Spanish) candidates desirable.
