Job Summary
We are seeking a highly qualified, motivated, and experienced Location Manager to oversee our soon to open operation. The General Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of the location, including supervising staff, monitoring shop mechanics, maintaining regular communication with school contacts, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the overall success of the location.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures
- Supervise and train staff to ensure exceptional customer service and safety regulations are met
- Monitor all staff, including but not limited to dispatch, safety, shop mechanics, drivers and aides.
- Problem solve day to day operations
- Handle school staff inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized environment
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Experience
- Previous experience in a student transportation is required
-Previous experience in handling Special Education child transportation a plus!
- Strong knowledge of day to day bus operations
- Bilingual skills (In Spanish, a plus!)
- Experience managing a staff of 6 or more
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multi task under high pressure
- Strong time management skills
- Proficient in Outlook, Teams, Word and PowerPoint
- Exceptional phone etiquette
