Description
Safework is looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative tasks. The candidate shall have 5 or more years of a wide range of administrative and office support experience.
Responsibilities :
- Provides administrative support to ensure efficient office operations.
- Handles administrative requests and queries from senior managers and division staff.
- Heavy proofreading and processing of general correspondence, such as letters, memos, reports, and Board letters.
- Checks correspondence submitted for supervisor's attention to ascertain that all relevant data, files, signatures, etc., are accurate and included.
- Develops and maintains physical and digital filing systems.
- Schedules meetings, prepares meeting agendas, takes minutes, arranges conferences, and maintains conference room schedules.
- Gathers data independently and by contacting employees, other divisions, and / or agencies for general information and / or to prepare reports or presentations.
- Develops charts, graphs, workflow diagrams, and other visual aids as necessary.
- Supervises other staff and delegates responsibilities.
- Maintains appropriate document control logs by entering information as to type of documents, dates received / transmitted, and file location.
- Handles technical issues within their area of expertise.
