Job Description
Director of Clinical Operations
- This position is a Director with management and leadership responsibility, reporting directly to Dr. Fletcher, Medical Director. This position will have responsibility for overall clinical administration within SafeWorks Illinois and off-site clinics. This includes, but not limited to; oversight of quality, patient satisfaction, patient engagement, patient experience, practice evolution, quality assurance and compliance. In addition, this position supports the expansion of additional on-site nursing opportunities and/or on-site clinics. Furthermore, communicates regional/market information and opportunities to the Medical Director and ensures effective communication to the management team and if necessary, clinical team. The overall goal is to be a key member of the management team and allow SafeWorks Illinois to remain as a thriving independent practice; and in turn assist in recruiting another physician-equity shareholder to secure the long-term future of the practice.
Position Qualification/Essential Functions:
· Demonstrate an understanding of commitment to the SafeWorks Illinois way by practicing its key components of continuous learning, coaching and compliance with all members of clinical team.
· Understands and promotes business value proposition and is an exceptional representation of the business both with internal and external clients, along with Executive Vice President.
· Ensures consistent execution of clinical administration standards.
· Supports the expansion of existing clinics and services to clients.
· Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations (OSHA, CRL, etc.)
· Works with Medical Director to ensure all clinical members are up to date on certifications and seek additional opportunities to advance employee education.
· Works with management team to ensure quality and compliance to identify any gaps in clinical delivery and quality of service.
· Ensures appropriate training and coaching is executed in support of SafeWorks Illinois business and overall healthcare standards.
· Ensures clinical staff delivers a high-touch patient experience and measures compliance.
· Oversees the clinical team to implement appropriate patient resolution measures.
Additional Qualifications Preferred:
· Clinical, leadership and people management experience.
· Multi-site management for off-site clinics to include on-site nursing.
· Knowledge with QA, OSHA and infection control practices.
· Work with the Executive Vice President to deliver experience in providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Education/Experience:
· At least 2 years Occupational health experience preferred
· LPN/RN preferred
· Proven track record in managing clinical operations.

Development Plan:
· 120-Day Training Period
Focus on patient care
Learn Systoc Electronic Medical Records, including Tap-to-Chart
Advanced education in effective management of work injuries.
Adapt to the culture and understand how SafeWorks Illinois operates.
Work with ATI and understand the effectiveness of acute PT and Industrial Rehabilitation.
Observe two depositions.
· Post 120-day training period[i]
Assume clinic director role to include managing clinical staff to also include other mid-level providers.
Responsible for ordering and maintaining necessary clinical supplies.
Develop protocols for quality assurance and patient satisfaction.
Maintain clinical staff schedules.
Supervise Case Management.
· Additional training in the 1st year

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
