About the Role
The accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, including recording transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing financial reports, ensuring accurate and timely financial data for business operations and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Handle daily bookkeeping tasks, including invoice entry, processing accounts payable, and managing ledger entries. Must maintain A/P processes, ensuring expense coding and descriptions.
- Accounts Payable: Process and pay invoices, ensure timely payment to vendors, and maintain accurate records of payments. Setting up new vendors in our Sage 500 and Sage intact.
- Maintaining supporting documentation for capital expenses and ensure proper record-keeping.
- Handling phone calls from vendors, scanning, and data entry. Help ordering supplies from amazon, staples etc.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or college education
- 1-3 years of bookkeeping experience
- 2-3 years of Excel experience
- Detail oriented and excellent communication skills
