Roles and Responsibilities
Design Engineer role to support in-service activities (60%)
- Define, organize, and manage the design activities of W&B programs in development / service, including; CAD design, sizing, calculations, and analyzing mechanical, dynamic, and thermal calculations using the Finite Element method
- Ensure the technical and organizational follow-though of the program
- Ensure the interface with the internal interlocutors (test laboratory, managers program, industrial management, quality, after-sales) and external (customers, partners and suppliers)
- Define, organize, and manage the subcontracting activities with service providers / experts
- Participate in research & technology studies and projects
- Contribute to the continued advancement of the programs used and the overall Design Engineer role
- Be willing to make occasional trips within our production sites, suppliers, partners, customers, airlines, and aircraft manufacturers; in the US, France, and abroad
- Perform other related duties as required
