In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in managing site transportation, overseeing the shipment of inbound and outbound goods while focusing on cost and transit time. You will also develop processes to improve logistics operations' quality and efficiency, working independently under Supply Chain management supervision. Main Function Responsibilities

A)Develop strategic transportation plans by analyzing schedules, routings, and consolidation opportunities.

B)Develop and maintain logistics supplier KPIs; lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance.

C)Maintain and analyze freight spend data; identify areas of opportunity and drive corrective actions.

D)Review and validation (and / or approval) of freight spend

E)Book, track and confirm critical shipments with consideration of incoterms, customer commitments and business needs

F)Coordinate with internal and external customer to ensure shipments align with business needs (customer expectation and financially)

G)Communicate risk and mitigation plans around external logistics

H)Support Warehouse & Logistics Leadership team with ad hoc tasks and projects.

I)Perform other duties as assigned

A.Education & Qualification :

• High School Diploma is required.
• Associate's Degree or higher in Business or in a related area is preferred.

B.Work Experience - Technical knowledge :

Minimum of 4 years of experience in :

E.Desirable Aspects :

Experience in an international freight and parcel shipping environment; familiarity with customs procedures; experience working in TMS

Physical Demands : This position requires extended periods of sitting while working with computers and viewing computer monitors and other office equipment. Finger dexterity needed in using misc. office equipment such as telephone, computer and copy machine, etc. Bending, stooping, reaching, and lifting up to approximately twenty pounds are required during tasks related to the job

Work environment : The work environment includes office setting with moderate office noise
