APQP Engineer/Specialist

In the role of APQP Engineer / Specialist you'll play a pivotal part in coordinating the application of APQP methodology. You'll have the opportunity to be responsible for implementing the APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) methodology projects, starting from the design phase and continuing through to operation and service. Together, we'll proudly step back and say, “We did that”.This position contributes to our vision by :  Coordinates the application of APQP in the project (including external supply chain if any). Ensures representativeness of multi-functional team. Captures and uses lessons learned from APQP implementation in Safran. Ensures buy-in from organizations for the implementation of the APQP. Plays a leading role in conducting risk analyses in line with the project schedule and ensures that risks are managed at every stage of the project. Ensures the logical sequence of APQP activities. Ensures the planning and execution of deliverable maturity assessments in accordance with the project milestones and invites the assessors.Highlights from our facility : As the North American headquarters for Safran Electrical & Power, the Denton, Texas facility's diverse team works together to innovate smarter electrical solutions for a better flight. • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Quality or related field and / or 5 years of experience in quality or aerospace manufacturing
