Job description
As part of the CFM Contracts spare engine team, this position will, for specific engine model lines:
Manage activities related to contract fulfillment for spare engines as follows:
o Act as a team focal for CFM joint venture parent companies' Business Operations and customer teams for spare engines and related processes.
o Work with Business Operations to support definition of yearly production and sales goals, and development of opportunity pipeline.
o Drive behaviors of other teams to manage their role in the transaction.
o Facilitate the development / enhancement of any processes related to spare engines or digital tools.
o Prepare and support various spare engine-related meetings.
Manage spare engine purchase orders and deliveries.
o Process and manage incoming purchase orders and related financial transactions.
o With the customer teams and production organization, proactively guide customers through the spare engine ordering and delivery process.
o Track and report customer contract fulfillment and report to other stakeholders.
o Support the process for issuance and tracking of service credits and impact on new engine contracts.
Implement airline customer contracts:
o Manage and administer certain terms and conditions of the airline customer contract.
o Summarize and communicate customer contract requirements.
o Track any financial transactions in digital tools.
o Liaise with Legal and Business Operations to process and define multi-party financing documents.
o Facilitate the relationship between CFM stakeholders and the airline customer.
Support sales and legal teams as required during proposal and contract negotiations with airline customers
o Review contract language, both in form and substance.
o Develop internal positions in response to airlines requests.
Support company business initiatives and issues
o Act as a Contracts focal point for company-wide programs and participate in cross functional teams.
o Support development of operating practices for company-wide distribution,
o Support ongoing performance improvement projects to digitize and lean internal processes.
o Define, record and maintain internal spares-related processes.
Provide data for periodic reviews and various management reports
o Establish and update information for management reports, as requested.
o Proactively leverage digital tools for reporting.
During absences of other team members, act as back-up for other engine models or global management of the CFM spare engine deliveries during that period.
Complete company required training as well as training for an individual growth plan
Job requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor degree in business-related or engineering field.
Minimum 5 years work experience, preferably in an aerospace-related field
Experience with management of commercial contracts preferred, aerospace-related field is a plus
Experience in project management
Experience in customer relationship management
Demonstrated skills in oral and written communication
Experience or strong desire to work with teams and customers from different countries and cultures
Work in an office environment 100% first six months, 60-80% thereafter.
Skills:
Must have strong analytical skills and ability to manage multiple topics concurrently in fast-paced environment.
Must have ability to work in an international environment and possess excellent customer interaction skills.
Must understand basic contract language and be able to draft basic commercial contract language
Must be able to communicate effectively with all organizational levels
Must be able to travel domestically and internationally (5-10%) and maintain a valid passport.
Prior Salesforce experience a plus
