Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Rig, pack, and deploy evacuation systems;
- Prepare aircraft doors for deployments (charging/pre-deployment setup);
- Install evacuation systems in mockups and support deployments;
- Setting up and executing tests per engineering input;
- Read and work from posted schedule;
- Work independently or in a team setting as required;
- Read/Understand CMM and folding procedures;
- Support jump testing events as needed;
- Maintain organization and tool control;
- Must be willing to support testing at customers' locations both domestically and internationally;
- Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture;
- Regular, predictable attendance is required;
- Other duties may be assigned

Job requirements
- High School Diploma and/or GED equivalent;
- 1-2 years of experience in related production or/and warehouse environment;
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions;
- Use Skill Matrix for detailed requirements associated with experience and skill level
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Pallet jack
- Fork lift certificate is a plus
Physical Demands
- Must be willing to work year-round in the Engineering Test Center which is not climate controlled
- This position requires lifting and moving objects of up to 50lbs
- This position requires working in kneeling positions and applying high-strength forces during packing duties
- The work environment is a manufacturing floor with moderate noise
- Ability to work at heights
- Must be able to work overtime as directed, including limited evenings in support of Evacuation Rate Testing;
- Some travel may be required (approximately 10%)
