2024-2025 Special Education 9-12 Teacher
Position Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The ideal candidate will be committed to student success and collaboration with faculty and families.
Requirements :
Valid Pennsylvania Special Education teaching certification
Bachelor's degree
Current clearances : Child Abuse Clearance, PA State Criminal Background Check, FBI Fingerprinting
Commitment to the school's vision and mission
Strong sense of accountability for student achievement
Professionalism in all aspects of the role
Responsibilities :
Plan and prepare instruction and assessments
Foster a positive classroom environment with a strong culture for learning
Collaborate with general education teachers to support student needs
Modify lessons to align with IEP goals
Work with the Director of Student Support to design a push-in / pull-out schedule
Manage student behavior effectively
Maintain open communication with faculty, students, and families
Perform additional duties as assigned by School Administration
