Position Summary
The CFO will lead Safrik’s financial operations, providing strategic direction and oversight across asset management, private equity, and commodities trading. This individual will play a key role in financial strategy, planning, risk management, and investor relations, aligning financial strategies with Safrik’s business objectives to drive long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement financial strategies, including budgeting, capital allocation, and financial forecasting, aligned with Safrik’s growth objectives.
- Oversee the financial planning process, ensuring strategic alignment with organizational goals.
- Analyze financial performance, providing regular reports and recommendations to the executive team.
Risk Management and Compliance
- Establish risk management frameworks to protect company assets and ensure financial resilience.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and international regulations and lead internal governance practices.
Investor Relations and Capital Markets
- Manage relationships with key investors, stakeholders, and financial institutions.
- Lead capital-raising activities, supporting the company's expansion and representing Safrik in investment-related engagements.
Operational Leadership
- Work closely with executive leadership to optimize financial operations across all departments, including asset management, private equity, and commodities trading.
- Support Safrik’s commitment to sustainable growth by integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles into financial practices.
Team Development and Mentorship
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional development.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; MBA or CPA strongly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in senior finance roles, ideally within asset management, private equity, or commodities trading sectors. Prior experience as a CFO or similar executive role is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting software; familiarity with financial regulations and compliance.
- Leadership Abilities: Strong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to engage effectively with investors and stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications: CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience in ESG or sustainable finance practices is a plus.
