Position Summary

Safrik Trading & Investment (STI) is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal with 5–7 years of experience, preferably within the private equity, asset management, or financial services industry. Candidates with experience at leading firms such as Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, or PwC are strongly encouraged to apply. The Paralegal will support the company’s legal team with corporate governance, regulatory compliance, contract management, and other legal and administrative tasks critical to the organization’s operations.

Key Responsibilities

Corporate Governance and Compliance

Assist with the preparation, review, and maintenance of corporate records, including board minutes, resolutions, and shareholder agreements.
Ensure the company remains compliant with applicable federal, state, and international regulations.
Conduct due diligence for private equity and asset management transactions.

Contract Management

Draft, review, and maintain legal documents, including NDAs, service agreements, and vendor contracts.

Track contract lifecycles, ensuring timely renewals or terminations.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address contract-related queries and revisions.

Regulatory Support

Research and summarize legal and regulatory updates affecting the private equity and asset management sectors.

Assist with filings and responses for regulatory bodies, including the SEC and FINRA.

Support compliance initiatives, including AML / KYC procedures and risk management protocols.

Legal and Administrative Support

Coordinate with external counsel and service providers as needed.

Maintain organized and accessible legal files, records, and databases.

Provide administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, and compiling reports.

Qualifications

Required

Education : Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program.

Experience : 5–7 years of paralegal experience, with a preference for candidates with exposure to private equity, asset management, or financial services.

Technical Skills : Proficiency with legal research tools, document management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.

Attributes : Highly detail-oriented, organized, and proactive with excellent time management skills.

Preferred

Experience at top firms such as Deloitte, KPMG, Accenture, or PwC.

Familiarity with legal frameworks in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance).

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface with stakeholders at all levels.
